After photographing dozens of FSU grads, here is what consistently looks incredible on camera, what to skip, and how to plan your outfits so every photo earns a spot on the wall.
FSU's backdrops are warm red brick, green lawns, and gold light. White, cream, pastels, and soft blues stand out beautifully against all of it. Garnet works too, especially as an accent rather than head to toe.

Flowy fabrics photograph better than stiff ones. A dress with movement turns walking shots and twirls into the best frames of the session. Midi and maxi lengths sit nicely under the gown without bunching.
A well fitted blazer or full suit reads sharp in every location, and a simple button down with chinos works just as well for a more relaxed look. Fit matters more than price: slim through the shoulders, hemmed pants, no pooling fabric at the shoes.
Campus sessions cover real distance between locations. Wear comfortable shoes for the walk and switch into the photo shoes at each stop. Heels look great planted on brick and pavers; grass is where they sink.
Two is the sweet spot for most sessions: cap and gown for the classic set, and a second outfit that feels like you. Want a third for a gameday or themed look? Just plan the changes around our location route.

Busy patterns, large logos, and neon tend to pull attention away from your face. Brand new shoes with bright white soles can also glow in photos. When in doubt, simple and well fitted wins.
Steam or iron everything the night before, bring the cap and tassel even if you are not sure you will use them, pack water, and bring a friend to hold things. We handle the rest.
Packages start at $249 with multiple locations across campus. Dates fill fast during grad season.
